Dale (Digital Knitting Pattern)

$8.00

Dale is a sock pattern inspired by the movie Top Hat – featuring the incredibly talented duo Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The lace panel that runs along the top outside of this sock pattern reminds me of Dale’s (Played by Ginger Rogers) incredibly flowing dress as she dances in the iconic Cheek to Cheek number.

Note: This is a digital knitting pattern for you to download and print at home. No physical pattern will be shipped.

Description

Dale – Worked in the round, Dale contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer.
