Description

Back to Basics: Socks and every sock pattern from rhyFlower Knits have helpful links to not only achieve a proper fit but give you some insight into what to look for in a sock yarn!

Worked in the round, Back to Basics socks contains both cuff-down and toe-up written instructions. There are 3 heels included with our Back to Basics Sock pattern; a peasant heel, a short row heel, and a heel flap & gusset. The pattern is also formatted in a way that you can swap the foot and leg directions from your favorite rhyFlower Sock pattern to use a different heel without having to do all that tedious math yourself. Bonus!

The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer (ensure you denote your instep stitches with extra markers – so you don’t miss the placement of the heel or toe shaping).
